A chill autumn wind rattled through the barren and cold looking Tree's as the early morning sun began to shine through its golden canopy.
A Jay chattered nearby as a Predator of the Forest spread its silken wings and glided through the top most branches of an ageing elm. Setting down into a landing flight the Falcon swooped It's annex's in a brief down stroke as his soft Feathers buffered up against the many branchlet's causing them to clatter together making a funny hollowing sound. Upon landing the Raptor clasped its prey in its left Talon and began to pluck out the unfortunate Wood-Pigeon’s down while all the while keeping a beady close eye on the Creature on the ground opposite it.
A low pitched moan of discomfort rifted up from the ground below. The Falcon Co-cked his cranium to one side and peered down out of interest and suspicion. Seeing that there was no threat from the Canine the Raptor continued on with its proud feast.

A garceful dark form paced through the thick trees out into a clearing on the riverside, in search of some peace, and her afternoon drink. For several long, quiet minutes, she lay, silently lapping up the murky water, until something shocked her from he dreamy state. A loud, piercing scream echoed through the waters, and shattered the silence she had worked so hard to find. Instantly, she sat up, and sped in search of the sound, only to find a dreary, saddened looking creture not far way. She didn't speak, but stood and watched, in awe of the creature; such a deadly grace about it.
